Romeo and Juliet: A Tragedy?


Singing the title role of Juliette, Ms. Russell travels throughout northwestern Ohio and southern Michigan to school-aged audiences to portray a reduction of Gounod's masterpiece. Set to a new English libretto by Joshua Borths, Ms. Russell sings excerpts of Juliette's arias and ensembles for young opera lovers throughout the spring semester. Directed by James M. Norman
